David L. Paterson is a graduate of Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and also holds a Master’s Degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. In addition to the digital photography and giclée prints created for this exhibition, David develops graphic design and video projections for musical and theatrical productions across North America. Notably he designed projections for award-winning Projet Porte Parole’s acclaimed SANTÉ series in Montreal. He also designed the projections for Katie McHugh’s production of WAITING FOR GODDREAU PRECEDED BY SHUT UP KATHLEEN, presented at the San Miguel de Allende Fringe Festival in Mexico. This collaboration continues in 2017 with THE DREAM PROJECT, an international production currently being developed by Yonder Window Theatre Company.
